The result tells you whether you passed. The certificate is the formal document that proves it.
Banks process increments only on the basis of the certificate, not the result.
What is the Passing Criteria of CAIIB Exam?
Two routes to clear each paper:
Route 1: Per paper: Score 50 or more out of 100 in each paper.
Route 2: Aggregate rule: Score at least 45 in every paper and maintain 50% aggregate (250 out of 500 for all 5 papers) in a single attempt.
Scoring below 45 in any paper is a direct fail. Route 2 doesn’t apply in that case.
Is Re-Evaluation Possible for CAIIB?
No. CAIIB is a computer-based test. Scores are system-generated. IIBF does not offer formal revaluation or answer-sheet re-checking.
If you believe a specific question had an incorrect answer key, you can raise the concern through the IIBF helpdesk. But individual score rechecking is not an available facility.
Is There a Merit List or Topper List?
No. IIBF does not publish a merit list, topper list, or rank list for CAIIB. It is a qualifying exam, not a competitive one. There is no ranking of candidates.
Does IIBF Publish Pass Percentage?
No official pass percentage data is published by IIBF for CAIIB. Candidate forums sometimes share estimates, but these are not from IIBF.
