CAIIB Exam Pattern 2025: Passing Criteria
Candidates must meet the qualifying criteria below to clear the CAIIB examination.
- You need to score a minimum of 50 marks out of 100 to pass each subject.
- Candidates who secure at least 45 marks in each subject, with an aggregate of 50% across all subjects in a single attempt, will be declared as having completed the examination.
- Candidates can retain credits for the subjects they have passed until the time allotted for completing the examination expires.

First Class
To be awarded a First Class, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Secure an aggregate score of 60% or higher across all subjects.
- Pass all subjects in your FIRST PHYSICAL ATTEMPT.
First Class with Distinction
This is the highest distinction awarded on the CAIIB exam. To achieve it, you must:
- Earn an aggregate score of 70% or higher.
- Score at least 60% in each individual subject.
- Pass all subjects in your FIRST PHYSICAL ATTEMPT.
