CAIIB Preparation Details

Yes, you can prepare for the CAIIB exam in one month and cover the majority of the syllabus, provided you follow the above-mentioned timetables for each component. 

For instance, the total recommended time for all the components is 211 hours. If you spend 4 hours daily and 8 hours on weekends (every week), you can easily cover the majority of the CAIIB syllabus in 30 days.

However, we recommend dedicating at least 1.5 months to comfortably cover the entire CAIIB syllabus.

Generally speaking, you need to score at least 50 marks in each CAIIB component to qualify for the CAIIB exam. 

However, there’s a single attempt rule you must know about. According to this rule, you qualify for the CAIIB exam if you manage to score at least 45 marks in each subject (4 compulsory and 1 elective) and 250 or more marks in total (at least 50% aggregate), in a single attempt.

However, if you fail to clear all the exams in a single attempt, you’ll have to score at least 50 marks in every subject to get your CAIIB certification.

Yes, you can prepare for the CAIIB exam without books, provided you have enrolled in a course based on IIBF books. However, it’s important to note that books are the best source of CAIIB preparation, as around 95% of the questions are asked from books.
