Registration for the CAIIB November-December 2024 session starts on 3 September 2024.
The last date for the CAIIB November-December 2024 session registration is 23 September 2024. Register early to avoid late fees.
If you’ve forgotten your IIBF membership password, you can reset it through the IIBF website. Click on the link: https://iibf.org.in/forgetPass.asp, and enter your registration number, date of birth, and captcha to log in. After logging in, you can reset your password.
There is no refund once the fee is paid, and it cannot be adjusted on any account.
The IIBF membership, once taken, is valid for a lifetime, i.e., a maximum of 35 years from the date of membership.
There is no provision to change the CAIIB exam center once you submit the application form. Hence, no request for a change of center will be entertained for any reason. Candidates are required to take utmost care and precaution while selecting the exam center.Â
In your second CAIIB attempt, you need to fill out a new form, where you can select a new exam center, which can be different from the center of your first CAIIB attempt.

- Visit the official website of IIBF—www.iibf.org.in.Â
- Click on the login (right side on the top of the home page).Â
- Now, enter your membership/registration no. and password to log in.Â
- Once logged in, you can edit your profile and change your address.Â
- Once you update your profile, the changes will be effected within 3-5 days.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a direct method to check the exact number of CAIIB attempts online. However, you can check the number of your CAIIB attempts by reviewing your previous application forms.
Follow the below-mentioned steps to update your bank name:
- Visit the official website of IIBF—www.iibf.org.in.Â
- Click on the login (right side on the top of the home page).Â
- Now, enter your membership/registration no. and password to log in.Â
- Once logged in, you can edit your profile and update your bank name.Â
- Once you update your profile, the changes will be effected within 3-5 days.
It’s advised that you wait for 24-48 hours (varies from bank to bank) and wait for an automatic refund. If you don’t get a refund, you can talk to your bank and ask for an explanation.
The answer to this question depends on where you’re working.
- If you’re working at a banking institution that offers you an increment after you clear the CAIIB exam, you won’t get exam fee reimbursement.Â
- However, if you’re working at a private bank that offers no increment after clearing CAIIB, you might get a full reimbursement of your exam fee and a one-time honorarium.
No, you only need to apply for IIBF membership once. The IIBF membership you registered for when applying for the JAIIB exam provides you with an IIBF membership ID and password. This same ID can be used for CAIIB exam registration.
While there’s no official confirmation yet about an extension for the CAIIB November/December 2024 registration deadline, historical data suggests a possibility. In the past 3 CAIIB exam sessions, the registration date has been extended.
- CAIIB June-July 2024: Deadline extended to May 30, 2024, from May 27, 2024.
- CAIIB November-December 2023: Deadline extended to April 27, 2023, from April 21, 2023.
- CAIIB June-July 2023: Deadline extended to September 27, 2023, from September 21, 2023.
It is recommended to avoid waiting until the last moment and to complete the form during the first week.
No separate documentation is required for the CAIIB examination as you have already uploaded the documents at the time of your IIBF membership. Now, while applying for the CAIIB exam, all you need to do is enter your IIBF membership ID and complete the above-mentioned steps.
