What is the CAIIB Registration Process 2026?

Here is the step-by-step process for registering for the CAIIB exam 2026.
Below are the steps to apply online for the CAIIB exam:
Step 1
Visit the official website of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF).

Step 2
On the official website’s home page, click the “Examination/Courses” option on the screen.

Step 3
A list of various options will appear on your screen after clicking. Under this list, select “Flagship Courses.”

Step 4
Select CAIIB from the list of courses.

Step 5
Find and click on “Apply Online”, and then click on “Members Login”.

Step 6
Enter your membership number and password to log in; carefully read the instructions, then click “Accept.”
Step 7
Enter information such as the mode, medium, exam centre, work location, etc.
Step 8
Select “Preview” and study the CAIIB Application form to make sure all the information is accurate and spelt correctly.
Step 9
Select “Accept and Submit” to complete the online payment process.
Step 10
Choose a payment method (credit/debit card, net banking), then adhere to the on-screen directions.
Step 11
Keep printed copies of the registration form and fee receipt.
What is the CAIIB Registration Fees?
- Candidates can pay CAIIB application fees online with a debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, Wallet, etc.
- The CAIIB registration fees structure varies depending on the number of attempts.
The application fees for CAIIB registration are given in the table below.

Important Note: There is an additional fee, which varies depending on the week you complete your CAIIB registration.
- 4 to 10 March 2026 & 1 to 21 Sept. 2026: You need to pay only the normal examination fee (as mentioned above) based on your attempt.
- 11 to 17 March 2026 & 9 to 15 Sept. 2026: You need to pay the normal examination fee + ₹ 100.
- 18 to 24 March 2026 & 16 to 22 Sept. 2026: You need to pay the normal examination fee + ₹ 200.

IIBF Membership Requirement for CAIIB Registration
IIBF membership is mandatory for CAIIB registration.

IIBF Membership Renewal
Only members enrolled before 1999 and not holding a life membership need renewal.
Members enrolled from 2000 onwards are life members and do not require renewal.
