IBPS Clerk Eligibility 2025

Before you apply, make sure you meet the IBPS Clerk eligibility criteria. IBPS clearly defines requirements for nationality, age, and educational qualification in its official notification.

1. Nationality

To apply for IBPS Clerk 2025, you must be:

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962, or
  • A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or certain African countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.

2. Age Limit (as on 1st August 2025)

  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 28 years

Candidate must have been born between 2nd August 1997 and 1st August 2005 (both dates inclusive).

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST – 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 years
  • PwBD – 10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen – Actual period of service rendered in the defence forces + 3 years (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST), subject to a maximum age limit of 50 years
  • Widows / Divorced Women – Age concession up to the age of 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC, and 40 years for SC/ST candidates

3. Educational Qualification

  • You must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Computer knowledge is mandatory, either as a subject in school/college or as a certification/diploma in computer operations.
  • You should be proficient in the local language of the state/UT you’re applying for.

Tip: Final-year students cannot apply unless they have their graduation results before registration closes.

Follow these steps to complete your IBPS Clerk 2025 (CRP-CSA-XV) online application form correctly. 

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

  • Go to the IBPS website.
  • On the Home Page, click “CRP CSA”.
  • Then select “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP – Customer Service Associates (CRP-CSA-XV)”.

Step 2: New Registration

  • Click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION.”
  • Enter your basic information.
  • The system will generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
  • These details will also be sent via Email and SMS.
  • You can log in later using these credentials to edit or complete your form.

Step 3: Upload Required Documents

Upload the following as per IBPS specifications:

  • Photograph
  • Signature
  • Left Thumb Impression
  • Handwritten Declaration
  • Certificate (if applicable) under Clause K (ix)
  • SSC / SSLC / 10th Certificate
  • You must also capture and upload your live photograph using webcam or mobile during registration.
