1. Aadhaar-Based Online Verification

• Aadhaar will be used for identity verification at registration, exam centres and prior to joining. 

• You must ensure your Aadhaar details (name, DOB, gender) match exactly with application entries. Any mismatch must be corrected before the verification stage. 

• Scribes and PwBD supporting documents are also verified against Aadhaar, where required. 

2. Biometric Verification & Appearance Rules

• IBPS captures live photographs and thumb impressions (left/right as specified) at centres. These biometrics will be matched later. 

• The IBPS PO notification warns that substantial changes in appearance (hair, facial marks, heavy temporary alterations) that prevent matching may lead to cancellation of candidature. 

• Keep appearance consistent from application through joining. 

• Bring the same ID and the exact photo that you uploaded. Photo mismatch is a ground for rejection.

3. Credit History Requirement Before Joining

• The participating RRBs/banks will check your credit history at joining.

• If your credit status is not reflected/updated with CIBIL before joining, you must either get it updated or produce No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from lenders confirming no outstanding. Otherwise, the appointment may be cancelled.

4. Live Photograph Capture During Application

• The application requires a live capture (webcam/mobile) at the time of upload. Uploading an old image is not permitted.

• The same live photo will be matched with the exam-day photograph and biometric capture. Keep the same look.

5. DigiLocker Access Option
