The IFSCA Grade A pattern includes three phases: Phase 1 (Objective), Phase 2 (Descriptive + Objective), and Interview.
Yes, Phase 1 is only qualifying. Marks are not counted in final selection, but you must clear the cut-offs to move to Phase 2.
There are two papers in Phase 1. Paper 1 tests aptitude and Paper 2 tests subject knowledge.
Yes. Phase 1 has 0.25 negative marking per wrong answer in Paper 1 and 0.50 in Paper 2. Phase 2 Paper 2 also has negative marking.
Phase 2 has two papers: Paper 1 is descriptive English (100 marks), and Paper 2 is objective-type domain knowledge (100 marks).
Paper 1 has 3 descriptive tasks. Paper 2 includes 50 MCQs from finance, IFSCA Act, GIFT City, and related topics.
Final selection is based on 85% weightage from Phase 2 and 15% from the interview.
Most of the exam is bilingual (English and Hindi), except for Paper 1 of Phase 2, which is English-only.
