1. Cut-off Date is February 28, 2026. Not the Registration Closing Date

  • Your age, educational qualification, and post-qualification experience will all be calculated as of February 28, 2026, not April 10, 2026.
  • If you turned 30 on or before February 28, 2026, you are ineligible. If your 30th birthday falls on March 1, 2026, or later, you are still eligible.
  • Check this carefully before you apply.

2. Live Photo Capture is Compulsory

  • Along with your scanned passport-size photo, you must also capture and upload a live photograph during the application process.
  • You can do this via webcam or by scanning a QR code on your mobile phone.
  • Make sure your device has a working camera before you sit down to fill the form.

3. Category Cannot Be Changed After Registration

  • Once you submit your application with a particular category, it cannot be changed at any stage.
  • The result will be processed based on the category you selected at the time of registration.

  • Without this, your qualification may not be considered valid for your chosen stream.

7. Only Post-Qualification Experience Counts

  • Experience gained before completing your qualifying degree or diploma will not be counted.
  • Only post-qualification experience in officer cadre counts toward the minimum 2-year requirement.
  • Experience during your MBA or before completing CA does not count.

8. Probation Period Has a Strict Leave Rule

  • Selected candidates will be on probation for 2 years.
  • During the first 11 months, only Casual Leave is permitted.
  • Any other leave taken during this period will extend your probation by the same duration.
  • Confirmation of appointment happens only after IIFCL specifically advises it in writing.

9. Government Employees Must Carry NOC at the Interview

  • If you are currently working in a Government, quasi-government, or PSU, you must produce a No Objection Certificate from your employer at the interview.
  • Without it, you will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
  • Travel reimbursement, if applicable, will also not be paid without the NOC.

10. Handwritten Declaration Must Be in Your Own Handwriting

  • The declaration must be written by you, in English, on white paper with black ink.

  • Attending PRT gives you no selection advantage. It only helps you understand the exam interface and pattern.

  • If you used a scribe during the online exam, you must submit the duly filled scribe details in the prescribed format at the interview.

13. SC/ST/PwBD Candidates Get Travel Reimbursement for Interview

  • Eligible outstation SC/ST/PwBD candidates called for an interview will be reimbursed travel expenses.
  • Reimbursement is limited to the third AC rail fare (mail/express only) or actual expenses, whichever is less, by the shortest route.
  • Local conveyance will not be reimbursed. If you travel by a higher class, only the IIIrd AC fare will be paid.

14. Misconduct Has Serious Consequences

  • You can also be permanently or temporarily debarred from all future IIFCL exams.
