To answer this question, let’s look at the past years in which the IRDAI notification has been released. 

As you can see above, after the first notification in 2017, the next IRDAI Grade A notification was released in 2023 and then again in 2024.

Although not a regular exam, the consecutive notifications in 2023 and 2024 certainly stand out. So, is it an indication of a new trend in yearly recruitment?

In the above image, IRDAI has officially announced its plan to recruit 40 Assistant Managers annually, starting from 2025, to significantly increase the sanctioned strength in these roles.

Although 2025 has already ended and it is now 2026, the IRDAI Grade A notification expected in the first quarter of 2026 will still be issued for the 2025 panel year, to fill the vacancies approved for that year.
