What Type of Questions are Asked in JAIIB?

All questions are objective-type MCQs. There is no descriptive writing section in the JAIIB exam.

The JAIIB exam question pattern includes a mix of:

1. Theoretical/factual questions: These test your knowledge of banking concepts, regulations, definitions, and RBI guidelines. These are the most common across IE&IFS, PPB, and RBWM.

2. Case-study-based questions: A scenario is described, and you pick the correct answer based on the application of banking rules. These appear more frequently in PPB and RBWM.

3. Statement-based questions: Two or three statements are given. You select which is correct. Common in IE&IFS and PPB.

4. Numerical questions: Calculations involving interest rates, depreciation, financial ratios, and accounting entries. These feature the most in the AFM paper. PPB and RBWM also have some numericals.
