It’s advised that you wait for 24-48 hours (varies from bank to bank) for an automatic refund. If you don’t get a refund, you can talk to your bank and demand an explanation.
Will my exam fee get reimbursed when I clear the JAIIB exam?
The answer to this question depends on where you’re working.Â
If you’re working at a banking institution that offers you an increment after you clear the JAIIB exam, you won’t get exam fee reimbursement. However, if you’re working at a private bank that offers no increment after clearing JAIIB, you might get a full reimbursement of your exam fee and a one-time honorarium.
What documents are required when applying for the IIBF membership?
According to IIBF, here are the documents you need handy:
- Declaration Form (With Photo, Signature of Employee and endorsed by the Br. Manager / HOD of the department.)
- ID Proof: ID card issued by the employer (with photo, employee signature). If you don’t have an ID card issued by your employer, you can upload any of the following documents:
- Aadhar Card
- Passport
- PAN Card
- Voter ID Card
- Driving Licence

No additional documentation is required for JAIIB registration. The documents you upload while applying for the IIBF membership are automatically reused by the portal after you log in with your membership ID.
Can the JAIIB registration date be extended?
Yes, it is a possibility. In fact, the registration dates for both the May and October sessions were extended from 27 March 2024 to 31 March 2024 and 21 August 2024 to 26 August 2024, respectively.
Note. While registration dates for the JAIIB exam are often extended, you should always focus on registering early. This will help you avoid paying late fees and any last-minute errors.
