JAIIB Registration 2026: How to Apply Online & Application Fee

IIBF has officially released the JAIIB registration dates for the May and October 2026 cycles on 2 February 2026.

• JAIIB May-June Registration will start from 2 February 2026
• JAIIB Oct-Nov Registration will start from 1 August 2026

JAIIB registration dates are crucial, as many bankers miss the registration window for the JAIIB exam due to their busy schedules and later regret it when the deadline passes.

JAIIB Registration Dates 2026

As expected, IIBF opens the registration window around 3 months before the exam for each cycle.

The JAIIB registration window remains open for 3 weeks. 

Important Note: In the November 2025 session, it was extended by an additional week, but that was an exception.

JAIIB Registration 2026: How to Apply Online

Here is a direct link to complete your JAIIB exam registration. Regular members can apply for the exam at the official website of IIBF.

Below, I have mentioned the detailed steps of the JAIIB registration process:

Step 1: Visit the IIBF Website

• Visit the official website of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF).

Step 2: Find Examination/Courses

• On the official website’s home page, click the “Examination/Courses” option on the screen. 

Step 3: Select the Flagship Courses

• A list of various options will appear on your screen after clicking. 
• Under this list, select “Flagship Courses.” 

Step 4: Click on JAIIB (Junior Associate Of IIB&F)

• Click the “JAIIB (Junior Associate Of IIB&F)” option. 
• A new page will open where you can proceed with the JAIIB online application.

Step 5: Click on Apply Online

• Find and click on “Apply Online.”
• A new section will open “JAIIB EXAMINATION – Online Registration of Examination Applications.”
• Click on “Member Login.”

Step 6: Enter Your Details

• Fill out your complete particulars in the online application form, including educational details, mode, medium, centre for the exam, etc.
• Click on ‘preview‘ and check whether the data is correct
• Now, click on ‘accept and submit‘ for online payment.

Step 7: Pay the Fee

• Pay the required application fee.

I advise you to complete the online registration as early as possible and avoid waiting until the last date.

JAIIB Application Fee 2026

• The exam fee structure varies as per the number of attempts.
• You can pay this online with a debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, Wallet, etc.

Important Note: There is an additional fee, which varies depending on the week you complete your registration.    

• 1st Week of JAIIB Registration: You need to pay only the normal examination fee (as mentioned above) based on your attempt. 
• 2nd Week of JAIIB Registration: You must pay the normal examination fee + ₹ 100.
• 3rd Week of JAIIB Registration: You must pay the normal examination fee + ₹ 200.

The exam will be held at multiple centers across India and one in Dubai.

How to Apply for IIBF Membership for JAIIB Registration

Click on the link to apply for the “Ordinary Membership Registration.”

• IIBF membership is open to employees of recognised banking and financial institutions.
• This includes nationalised banks, private sector banks, RBI, SBI, co-operative banks, and other approved financial institutions.
• Employees of any organisation that is an institutional member of IIBF and approved by the council are also eligible.

IIBF Membership Registration Fees 

• For Indian applicants, the one-time life membership fee for ordinary membership with GST is ₹1,770/- (Membership Fees ₹1,500/- & GST ₹270/-.)
• For overseas applicants, the fee is US $150.

JAIIB Registration: IIBF Membership Renewal

• Only old members enrolled before 1999 and not life members are eligible for membership renewal.
• All members who were enrolled from the year 2000 are life members.

Important Note: You can confirm your eligibility by sending a mail to any one of the offices of the Institute (given under) before applying for membership renewal.

How to Apply for JAIIB Second Attempt

Applying for a second attempt at the exam is similar to the initial application process.

• You need to follow the regular registration steps as mentioned above.
• Please note that the fee structure for the second attempt differs from the first.
  • While the initial attempt typically costs ₹4000, the fee for the second attempt and onwards is ₹1300.
