What is the JAIIB Provisional Scorecard?
This is the document you download right after your exam. It is paper-specific. If you appeared for Paper 1 on one weekend and Paper 2 on another, a separate JAIIB provisional scorecard is released for each.
It is called provisional because the final result has not been declared yet. The institute processes all papers together before declaring the official result.
What is the Consolidated Marksheet?
This comes after the official result is declared. It shows all four papers together: marks, qualifying status, and aggregate. If you have cleared all papers, the consolidated marksheet serves as your complete academic record of JAIIB.
If you have downloaded the consolidated marksheet for all subjects, you do not need the provisional scorecard separately.
What is the JAIIB Certificate?
The certificate is the official qualification document. Banks process salary increments only after you submit the certificate. CAIIB registration is linked to JAIIB clearance status, not the scorecard.
Use the scorecard to track your marks. Use the certificate for everything official.
How to Download JAIIB Scorecard 2026?
- After completing each paper, you’ll see your marks on the screen, but your IIBF JAIIB scorecard will be available within 2 weeks after the exam ends.
- Your JAIIB scorecard or provisional scorecard will give you a detailed record of your performance in the exam.

Step 1: Visit the IIBF Website
- The first step is to visit the official website of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF).
Step 2: Navigate to Exam/Courses
- Find and click on the “Exam/Courses” section.
Step 3: Find the Provisional Scorecard
- Find and click on the “Provisional Scorecard” section.
Step 4: Select Exam and Center
- Choose the exam name and center from the available options.

Is the Process Different on Mobile vs. Desktop?
The portal works on mobile browsers. The steps are the same. But saving a PDF on mobile depends on your browser settings and file manager.
Download it on a desktop whenever possible. Mobile downloads sometimes fail.
Which Format of JAIIB Scorecard is Accepted: Physical or Digital?
IIBF issues the JAIIB exam score card only in digital format, i.e., PDF. No physical printed copy is sent by post or courier. This changed after IIBF’s Go Green initiative.
The PDF you download is the official document.
Save the PDF in at least three places:
- On your device (laptop or phone).
- On a cloud storage account (Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar).
- As an email attachment sent to yourself.
This is because the provisional scorecard portal does not guarantee permanent accessibility. You cannot rely on re-downloading it six months later. The file you download now is your record.
Print a hard copy only if your bank’s HR process requires a physical submission. Otherwise, a digital PDF is accepted.
Once you’ve completed the exam, you can easily access your JAIIB result to see how you performed.
How Long can you Re-Download the JAIIB Provisional Scorecard?
The provisional scorecard is not hosted on the official IIBF portal forever. Here is the exact timeline for how long you can access and re-download it:
- Active Window: The download link on the IIBF website remains active for about 30 to 45 days after the exam cycle ends.
- Removal Time: IIBF removes this temporary link once they release the final consolidated marksheet and official results.
What Information Is Mentioned on the JAIIB Scorecard?
The JAIIB scorecard contains key personal and exam-related details.
Here is the exact information printed on the JAIIB scorecard:
- Membership No: The unique registration or membership number given to the candidate.
- Name: The full name of the candidate who took the exam.
- Address: The residential address field of the applicant.
- Examination: The specific exam cycle name and the year.
- Subject Name: The title of the paper you appeared for.
- Examination Centre: The exact location name and center code where you gave the test.
- Examination Date: The specific day, month, and year of the exam.
- Examination Time: The exact time slot allotted for the paper.
- Mark Secured: The individual score obtained out of 100 for that particular subject.
The document also clearly states at the top and bottom that it is a temporary or provisional scorecard.
Is JAIIB Provisional Scorecard Accepted for Salary Increment?
No. The provisional JAIIB scorecard alone is not sufficient for processing a salary increment. Banks process increments only after you submit the official JAIIB certificate.
The increment is not automatic. You must submit the digital certificate to your bank’s HRMS or HR department.
Arrears are calculated from the certificate date, not the exam date.
Is the JAIIB Provisional Scorecard Accepted for CAIIB Registration?
You do not need a physical certificate to register for the CAIIB exam.
The IIBF portal automatically updates your profile status to “Passed” in their system. Once the results are declared, you can directly apply for CAIIB online.

Can IIBF JAIIB Provisional Scorecard Marks be Corrected After Release?
Yes, if there is a genuine error. The scorecard is marked provisional precisely because IIBF may correct errors before the final result.
If your scorecard shows something that seems incorrect, such as a wrong name, wrong marks, wrong subject, contact IIBF immediately.
How to Raise a JAIIB Scorecard Correction Request?
Go to the IIBF Help Portal.
Select “Examination” as the query category. Describe the error or correction needed clearly. Attach a screenshot of the scorecard as evidence.
The sooner you raise it, the better. Do not wait for the consolidated marksheet to check for errors.
Can You Request Rechecking if You Think Your Score is Wrong?
JAIIB is a computer-based exam. Scores are system-generated. IIBF does not offer a formal revaluation or answer sheet re-checking service the way other exams do.
If you believe a question had an incorrect answer key, you can raise that concern through the helpdesk, but individual score rechecking is not a formal facility.
