A significant portion of the NABARD Grade A syllabus overlaps with the RBI Grade B syllabus. Here’s how: 

• Phase 1 of NABARD Grade A includes all the subjects in Phase 1 of the RBI Grade B exam. Common subjects include General Awareness, English, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude.
• Phase 2 of both exams includes these subjects: Descriptive English and ESI.

At the same time, there are some distinct differences between the NABARD Grade A and the RBI Grade B exam:

• Phase 1 of NABARD Grade A has some additional subjects that are missing in the RBI Grade B exam: Decision Making, Computer Knowledge, and ARD.
• Phase 2 of NABARD features ARD, which is missing in the RBI Grade B Phase 2 exam. RBI Grade B Phase 2 exam has Finance Management (FM), which is missing from the NABARD Phase 2 exam.

If you look at the facts, NABARD has modified the syllabus just once (in 2021) within the 2018 – 2023 period. Therefore, the probability of syllabus change in 2024 is relatively low.

Even if the syllabus changes, the magnitude of change is expected to be in the range of 10-15%. So, it would hardly impact your preparation.
