IBPS PO Mains 2026 is tomorrow, October 4. Candidates appearing for the CRP PO/MT-XVI Mains exam must carry the required documents and follow the instructions mentioned on their call letter. The Mains call letter was released on September 24, 2026.
With the exam now just one day away, candidates should check their documents tonight. A missing document at the exam centre can create an avoidable problem.

IBPS PO Mains 2026 Tomorrow: What Should You Carry?
Candidates should keep the following items ready before leaving for the exam centre:
1. Printed IBPS PO Mains Admit Card
The printed copy of the IBPS PO Mains call letter is mandatory for the exam.
Check these details on your admit card:
- Candidate name
- Roll number
- Registration number
- Exam date
- Reporting time
- Exam centre
- Centre address
- Photograph and signature
- Exam-day instructions
Do not rely only on the digital copy saved on your phone. Carry a clear printout.
2. Original Valid Photo ID Proof
Carry one original and valid photo identity proof.
The name on the ID should match the name mentioned on the call letter/application records. IBPS exam instructions require candidates to produce the original photo ID for verification.
Candidates should preferably carry an ID that they have already used during the recruitment process.
3. Photocopy of the Same Photo ID
Along with the original ID, carry a photocopy of the same photo ID.
Do not carry a photocopy of one ID while presenting a different original ID. The documents should correspond.
4. Passport-Size Photograph
Carry a recent passport-size photograph.
Candidates should preferably carry the same photograph used during the application process. Previous IBPS instructions have required candidates to retain copies of the photograph submitted during the application process for use at later stages.
5. Prelims Call Letter and Related ID Copy
Candidates should also keep their authenticated Prelims call letter and the related photo ID photocopy with their Mains documents, wherever required under the examination instructions.
This requirement has been specified in IBPS examination instructions for candidates appearing for the Mains stage.
Keep these documents together tonight so you do not have to search for them tomorrow morning.

IBPS PO Mains 2026: What Should You Not Carry?

- Bluetooth devices
- Earphones or headphones
- Calculators
- Electronic gadgets
- Books and notes
- Printed or written material
- Geometry boxes
- Bags and unnecessary accessories
- Metallic items and jewellery

IBPS has also stated that candidates should not bring prohibited items because arrangements for their safekeeping cannot be assured.
The safest approach is simple: carry only the documents and items specifically permitted in your call letter.
