Age Limit for the NPS Grade A 2025 Exam
- The age for the NPS Grade A exam is calculated as of 31 December 2024.
- The maximum age limit for candidates in the unreserved or general category is 30 years, while the minimum age is 21 years.
Educational Qualification for the NPS Grade A 2025 Exam
For the general stream, you need to have either of the following full time qualifications from an
Indian University/Institute recognized by AICTE/UGC/Government.

Additional Details of NPS Grade A Phase 1 Pattern 2025
- Phase 1 of the NPS Grade A exam is qualifying in nature.
- There is no sectional timing in Phase 1.
- You can choose either Hindi or English language (except for the English language test).
- For every wrong answer, there is a 1/4th negative marking.
- You would need to secure separate cut offs in each test as well as aggregate cut-off marks (as decided by NPSTrust) in the Phase 1 exam for your Phase 2 paper to be evaluated.

Additional Details of NPS Grade A Phase 2 Pattern 2025
- Phase 2 exam of NPS Grade A consists of 2 online papers.
- You can choose either Hindi or English language (except for the English description).
- 1/4th marks will be deducted for every wrong answer in Paper 2.
- No negative marking in Paper 1.
NPS Grade A Interview Pattern 2025
Phase 3 of the NPS Grade A exam consists of an interview.
- Candidates are shortlisted for interviews based on their Phase 2 marks only.
- Candidates can opt for the interview either in Hindi or English.
- The interview marks are not mentioned in the official NPS Grade A notification.
- Equal weightage (50%) is given to the marks obtained in Phase 2 and the interview.

Click on the “Career” button on the home page and then click on “vacancies.”
Step 3
Find and click on the link “DIRECT RECRUITMENT TO THE POSTS OF OFFICER GRADE B (MANAGER) AND OFFICER GRADE A (ASSISTANT MANAGER) IN NPS TRUST.”
Step 4
Now click on the link “Click here for New Registration” and enter the basic details against all the fields.
Step 5
A provisional registration number and password will be generated, and you’ll receive them on the registered email address.

Log in using the provisional registration number and password.
Step 7
Fill out all details in the application form and upload the required list of documents such as photo, signature, thumb impression, and handwritten declaration. Click on the “Save & Next” button.
