No. The NPS Grade A officer exam is not conducted regularly. It was last conducted in 2023, 2022, and 2020.
Can I apply for the NPS Grade A and NPS Grade B at the same time?
No, you can only apply for one exam and one stream.
Is the application process for the NPS Grade A exam online or offline?
The application process for the NPS Grade A exam is conducted online only. Candidates need to submit their applications through the official NPS website.
Is there any correction window, if I make a mistake in the application?
NPS Trust provides a correction window in the preview section while filling out the application form, where candidates can edit the entered information. However, once the application is submitted, alterations are not allowed. Hence, taking time while entering information is advisable to prevent any mistakes.
Are final-year students eligible for the NPS Grade A exam?
Yes. Candidates who have appeared for the final examinations and are waiting for the results are eligible to appear in the selection process. However, they need to submit the necessary educational qualification documents at the time of joining.
Does NPS favour candidates who have prior working experience?
Yes, but only for specialized posts. NPS Trust selects the Grade A officers for the general posts based on the performance of aspirants in Phase 2 and interview.

NPS Trust offers free online pre-examination training for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates. This training helps you gain a clear understanding of the exam pattern and syllabus and allows you to get familiar with the online platform used for the exam.
