Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
No, PFRDA does not conduct the Grade A exam every year.
Yes. Candidates who have appeared for the final examinations and are waiting for the results are eligible to apply for the exam. However, if selected, you need to submit the necessary documents at the time of joining PFRDA.
Prior work experience isn’t a deciding factor for the PFRDA Grade A general exam. However, experience is considered for the Information Technology posts.
For the General stream, applicants must have a Master’s degree in any discipline, or a Bachelor’s degree in Law or Engineering, or hold a professional qualification such as CA, etc. The degree or qualification must be obtained from a recognized university or institute, and completed by the last date of application submission.
The maximum age limit for the General/Unreserved category is 30 years. Age relaxations will apply for reserved categories.
The gross salary of a PFRDA Grade A officer is ₹1,57,000 per month. The in-hand salary of a PFRDA Grade A officer, after adding perks and allowances and removing mandatory deductions, is approximately ₹1,00,000 to ₹1,20,000 per month.
