RBI Grade B eligibility includes age limit, educational qualification, nationality, and number of attempts.
RBI Grade B Age Limit & Relaxation 2025
The RBI Grade B age limit for the 2025 exam is calculated as of the 1st of the month in which the notification is released. The minimum and maximum age limits for the unreserved or general category are 21 and 30, respectively.
RBI Grade B Educational Qualification 2025
To apply for the RBI manager exam 2025, you need to be either:
- A post-graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in aggregate of all semesters/years.
- OR
- A graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants)
Nationality Requirement for RBI Grade B 2025
You should be an Indian citizen or subject of Nepal/Bhutan to be eligible for the RBI Grade B 2025 officer exam.
Number of RBI Grade B Attempts for 2025

- The overall difficulty level of the RBI Grade B 2024 Phase 1 Exam was moderate to difficult.
- The General Awareness questions were moderate as compared to the previous year.
- The questions of Quantitative Aptitude were very tough.
- English section was of almost the same level as that of last year.
- Logical Reasoning was slightly tough due to the increased number of puzzles and Seating arrangement.
- As per trends, the Phase 1 Exam of RBI manager is getting tougher each year and with a smaller number of vacancies coming, the competition will get fiercer. It does not mean that you should not target this exam, but you should prepare better to rise above others.

Important Note: The official notification for the RBI Grade B 2025 exam is yet to be released. As a result, the online application link is currently inactive. However, I’ve outlined the application process based on the 2024 exam. The RBI manager 2025 application process will follow a similar pattern.
Steps to Apply for the RBI Grade B 2025 Exam
Step 1: Visit the official website of Reserve Bank of India.
Step 2: Find “Opportunities@RBI” at the bottom on the Homepage and click on this section to proceed.
Step 3: After clicking on it, a new page will open in the new tab. Hover your cursor on the “Current Vacancy” section and click on the “Vacancy” sub-section.
Step 4: Find and click on the official RBI Grade B 2025 Notification.
Step 5: Carefully read the notification to understand the eligibility criteria and other details, and click on the “ONLINE” link provided in the notification.
Step 6: If you’re a new user, register with your basic details and create an account. Click on the “Click here for New Registration” to initiate the process.
Step 7: Before registering yourself, it is advisable to collect the prerequisites for applying online. Here are the prerequisites candidates should have in digital (scanned copy):
- Photograph (4.5cm x 3.5cm)
- Signature (with black ink)
- Left thumb impression (on a white paper with black or blue ink)
- A handwritten declaration (on a white paper with black ink)
Step 8: Fill in the required details accurately in the application form. It is a 6-step process mentioned below:
- Basic Info: Candidates are required to provide basic personal information
- Photo & Signature: Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature
- Details: Enter personal details and educational qualifications
- Preview: Carefully review all the information provided before proceeding
- Upload: Upload scanned copies of your left thumb impression and handwritten declaration.
- Payment: Pay the required application fee through the provided payment gateway using a debit/credit card, net banking, IMPS, or other payment options.
Step 9: After completing the registration, log in with your credentials and make sure you payment status indicates “paid”.

You can easily download your RBI Grade B Phase 1 admit card from the RBI website. Admit cards for RBI Grade B Phase 2 are available after the Phase 1 result.

Step 5: A new page opens up, click on “Admission Letters for the posts of Grade B DR (General)″.

RBI Grade B Result
The RBI Grade B 2024 Phase 1 result was announced on 20 September 2024 and the Phase 2 result was announced on 14 November 2024. At the time this page was published the interviews were pending. I’ll update the final RBI Grade B 2024 result as soon as the RBI declares the official results.
The result for the RBI Grade B 2023 Phase 1 exam was announced on 18 July 2023 and the Phase 2 result was announced on 28 August 2023. The final RBI Grade B 2023 result was announced on 13 December 2023.
