Yes, NOC from a present employer is necessary for the RBI Grade B interview. It is only applicable to candidates who are in service of Government (including Army, Navy, Air Force, & Para Military Forces, etc.) / Quasi Govt Organizations/ Public Sector Banks/ Public Sector Undertakings.
As part of the final selection process for RBI Grade B officers, a police verification is conducted to assess your character and background. Here’s what to expect:
During the verification, the police will check your records to ensure you don’t have any criminal history or pending cases. They may also visit the address mentioned in your documents and ask you and your neighbors a few questions to verify the truthfulness of the details you have provided. Afterward, they submit their report to the RBI.
