As the name suggests, these are bodies that are responsible for regulating a particular sector or system of India. Reserve Bank of India (RBI), for example, is a regulatory body that is responsible for regulating the banking system in our country. SEBI is another regulatory body that regulates the capital markets of our country. Similarly, IRDAI is a regulatory body that regulates the entire insurance sector of our nation. You get the point, right?
RBI and NABARD are 2 regulatory bodies that conduct exams every year for the post of Managers and Assistant Managers, respectively.
In a single word, no!
Eligibility criteria is defined by each body in its recruitment notification. For most of the exams that fall under the category of regulatory bodies, graduation in any discipline is the bare minimum educational qualification that is needed. Please note that for different posts, the educational qualification that is needed to apply can be different. The age limit is generally 21 to 30 years with the relaxation provided to certain categories like SC, ST, PwBD, PhD holders, etc.
