RRB PO Age Eligibility 2025: Age Limit & Relaxation

Age for the RRB PO 2025 exam will be calculated as of the date mentioned in the official notification, which is 1 September 2025. Below are the age limits of the RRB PO exam for general candidates:

  • Minimum Age Limit: 18 years
  • Maximum Age Limit: 30 years*

You should not have been born earlier than 2 September 1995 and not later than 1 September 2007 (both dates inclusive).

IBPS RRB PO 2025 Eligibility: Nationality

According to the latest official RBI Grade B notification, to apply for the exam, a candidate must be either:  

  1. a citizen of India, or
  2. a subject of Nepal, or
  3. a subject of Bhutan, or
  4. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

If you fall under categories 2, 3, 4, or 5, you’ll need a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Government of India.
