SBI PO 2024 notification is expected to be released in the final week of October or the initial week of November 2024.
If there aren’t enough qualified candidates (usually within the PwBD categories) in a particular recruitment cycle, such vacancies may be carried forward as backlog vacancies. There isn’t a separate process to fill backlog vacancies. These vacancies are included in the total vacancies announced in the next recruitment cycle.
Reasoning Ability and & Quantitative Aptitude subjects of SBI PO Phase 1 carry the highest weightage, 35 marks each.
General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness section of SBI PO Phase 2 carries the highest weightage, 60 marks.
SBI conducts eligibility verification at the interview stage. If any information provided in the online application is found to be false or incomplete, or if the candidate doesn’t meet the eligibility criteria as determined by SBI, their candidacy is canceled. This means they are not permitted to participate in the interview.
Yes, final-year students are eligible to appear for the SBI PO exam. However, they must submit proof of passing their final examination by 31st December of the year in which the SBI PO notification is released. This requirement can typically be fulfilled by providing a provisional certificate or a certificate of completion at the time of the interview.
