SEBI Grade A Phase 1 Cut Off

• The Grade A Phase 1 exam is qualifying in nature. Fixed cut-offs are set for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. 
• The cut-off for Paper 1 is a minimum of 30%, i.e., 30 marks out of 100, while for Paper 2, it is a minimum of 40%, i.e., 40 marks out of 100.
• Candidates need to secure separate cut-offs in each paper, as mentioned above, as well as aggregate cut-off marks of 40%, i.e., 80 marks out of 200 in the Phase 1 exam to be shortlisted for Phase 2. 
• There is no sectional cut-off.

Here are the category-wise Phase 2 (mains) cut off marks of the SEBI Grade A 2022 exam. The final cut off is a combination of Phase 2 and interview.

Important Note:

• Phase 2 has 2 papers of 100 marks each. Paper 1 and Paper 2 have a weightage of ⅓ and ⅔ respectively. The marks obtained by the candidate in paper 1 and 2 are multiplied by ⅓ and ⅔ to arrive at marks obtained out of 100.
• Phase 2 and the interview have a weightage of 85% and 15% respectively. The marks obtained by the candidate in phase 2 and the interview are then calculated out of a total of 100 marks by applying the weightages of 85% and 15%.

When Does SEBI Release the Cut Off Marks?

SEBI usually releases cut off marks at specific points throughout the SEBI Grade A selection process. Let’s understand this with 2022 cut offs dates.

• Result Date: 25 February 2022
• No cut off release date as the cut off for phase 1 is fixed

Phase 2

• Exam Date: 20 March 2022
• Result Date: 7 April 2022
• Cut Off Release Date: 11 July 2022

Interview

• Interview Call Letter: 26 April 2022
• Final Result Date: 8 July 2022
• Final Cut Off Release Date: 11 July 2022
