SEBI Grade A Result Details

While SEBI has not yet released the exact figure for the SEBI Grade A 2024 exam, the 2022 exam saw a total of 49,031 applicants, with 33,645 competing for the General stream.

SEBI Grade A appointment letters are usually given within a week after the final result.

Usually, candidates join SEBI as a Grade A officer within 1 month after the final result.

Newly appointed SEBI Grade A officers undergo a 2-month training program at the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. This training starts immediately upon joining.

Yes, NOC from a present employer is necessary for the SEBI Grade A interview. It is only applicable to candidates who are in service of Government (including Army, Navy, Air Force, & Para Military Forces, etc.) / Quasi Govt Organizations/ Public Sector Banks/ Public Sector Undertakings.

As part of the final selection process for SEBI Grade A officers, a police verification is conducted to assess your character and background. Here’s what to expect:

During the verification, the police will check your records to ensure you don’t have any criminal history or pending cases. They may also visit the address mentioned in your documents and ask you and your neighbors a few questions to verify the truthfulness of the details you have provided. Afterward, they submit their report to the SEBI.

The venue for the SEBI Grade A interview will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates in their interview call letters.
