2. UPSC ALC Notification Release

After receiving the requisition, UPSC released theAssistant Labour Commissioner notification on 12 November 2022 for 29 vacancies.

For 2027, the notification is expected around March-April 2027.

3. Online Registration Window

The last date to apply in the 2022 cycle was 1 December 2022, giving candidates just about 3 weeks to fill the form.

For 2027, expect a similar 3-week registration window after the notification drops.

4. UPSC ALC Exam Date Announcement

The Assistant Labour Commissioner exam date was not in the notification. UPSC announced it separately on 7 July 2023, nearly 8 months after the notification.
